THE PROMOTION GUIDES
WhatsApp video promotion.
Make it welcome.
Prepare a short, relevant video message for customers who expect to hear from your business. Use Brand Promotion Studio for the brief, then review and share through your chosen WhatsApp tools.
Draft your campaign brief01 / START WITH YOUR AUDIENCE
Permission comes before the message
WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy requires recipients to provide their number or username and opt-in permission before a business contacts them. Respect requests to stop and keep records of the permission you rely on.
Choose a suitable format: a business conversation, a Status update or an update for people who follow your Channel. Confirm the available features and audience settings in your account. Avoid bought contact lists and repeated unwanted messages.
02 / PREPARE A USEFUL VIDEO
Keep the offer easy to understand
- Explain why it is relevant. Open with the customer benefit, show the product or update and identify the business clearly.
- Give one next step. Ask viewers to reply, visit an accurate page or contact your team. Keep the message and destination consistent.
- Review before sharing. Check captions, readability, permissions for footage and the final file in WhatsApp. Use the official product suited to your workflow.
- Learn from useful responses. Track enquiries or completed outcomes with consent. Adjust relevance and frequency when people opt out or disengage.
What you can prepare here
Does the Studio send videos to WhatsApp contacts?
No. It has no WhatsApp account connection or bulk-sending service. Choose “Another product” to draft your hook, copy and call to action, then adapt the exported brief for manual review and sharing.
Is WhatsApp a selectable campaign channel?
It is not currently a selectable Studio channel. This guide explains the separate manual workflow. WhatsApp Business Platform messaging requires its own setup and applicable message-template rules.
