How to export
- Open your Jira Cloud project
- Issues → Search for issues (JQL) or backlog
- Export → CSV (All fields)
- Upload in the assessment wizard
Validation expectations
UTF-8 CSV up to 5 MB. At least one data row. Duplicate Issue Keys are flagged. Work items counted server-side for plan detection.
Azure DevOps
Required columns
ID (or Issue Key), Title (Summary), Description, Work Item Type, State (Status), Area Path or Project
How to export
- Boards → Queries → run backlog query
- Export to CSV
- Upload in the assessment wizard
Excel / CSV template
Generic template with Jira-compatible headers. Row 2 contains placeholder guidance. Save as .xlsx or UTF-8 CSV.
